Hi All,
I am working in WINDOWS 7 OS.
I want to resgister an application name for restart from another application. Is it possible?
For example:
I am running xyz.exe which is calling "RegisterApplicationRestart()". I want to know that, can I register the name of another application, say abc.exe, for restart from xyz.exe ?
Detail description of problem :
Actually, I am having 2 binaries, say abc.exe and xyz.exe.
abc.exe does all the environment settings and then invoke xyz.exe and exits.
Note: xyz.exe cannot be invoked directly without environment settings.
I want to make it restart aware. But since abc.exe exits and if I make xyz.exe restart aware, how can I make sure that restart manager should invoke abc.exe after the system gets restarted by some intallation/updates ?
Response awaited.....
Thanks
