Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me.
I'm running Vista Home 32 bit and seem to have done something to my computer.
I cannot access my C Drive. It is still there - I see it in the "manage" application but
When I click on computer - a search function appears
When I click on Network - nothing happens - right click and properties gives an error - The error I get is "This file does not have an association"
When I click on control panel - nothing happens either.
when I click on default programs - same thing
I click on games - nothing happens
I click on music or documents and that search box opens
Can any one suggest any help?
To my mind it seems as if some sort of mapping to the c drive has been lost - but I can't see how to fix it.
I can't really say much more because I can't access the bits that tell me what my computer is (I do have some experience of them - but not much)
The error I get is "This file does not have an association"
many thanks
