On booting up I am faced with the black screen of the Windows Boot Manager telling me Windows failed to start. I have tried to repair using the installation disk and changing the boot sequence to allow this but it cannot find or repair any error.
The error message is
File: \Windows\System32\Drivers\RapportKE64.sys
Status: 0xc000098
Info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt.
I know this has something to do with the securirty software Trusteer Rapport that ha snow go wrong. i have contaced them and they have told me to dlete a file in Safe Mode. The problem i can't get into Safe Mode.
If I esc from the Boot Manager and try to start in Safe Mode it scrolls doewn the drivers and returns me back to the Boot Manager. So I can't repair from the disc, delete or escape from the Boot Manager.
So can anyone help me............please!!!!!
