Can't Boot Up

I have Vista, 32bit. I am unable to boot up, and Safe Mode won't work. Earlier I ran diagnostics but it stopped at a certain point. I got error messages 075D and 0232 before it froze. My computer originally came with XP and a Vista upgrade. I couldn't find a Vista reinstallation diskette and tried the XP diskette, which got me some menus, but I didn't want to do anything I'd regret. Later, I did find a Vista reinstallation diskette. The files load, but it won't go any further to give me a menu with the option to repair. What can I do? Thanks for your help.

Hello OHumphery,

In addition to what SIW2 has suggested, I would request you to help us with the make and model number of the computer. Also mention the exact error message you got from the diagnostics.

Awaiting your response!
