Solved Can't Change Desktop Backgound (Vista)

I don't know if this helps with anything but when i open an image the area around it is yellowish an it used to be white:

What is the brand and model number of your computer? I'll see if I can find instructions for you on how to do a factory restore using your OEM recovery partition.

Where can I find it on the computer?

You should have some sort of logo on your computer case for what brand (ex: Gateway, Dell, etc....) it is.

You might also look in System Information next to "System Manufacturer" and "System Model" in the right pane to see if it is listed there as well.

I'm not sure with this brand, but I think it will backup all of your user files, then restore them in the new installation.

Okay I did the F11 thing to redo everything. Everything works okay. I am still having one more issue, I don't know if you guys can help me. I have a graphics card that was bought seperately and I need the drivers for it but I can't find them. (The reason I think this is because my rating on Vista is 1.0 and it used to be 3.5, and when I click it the graphics, and gaming display (I think that's what they are called, not sure because I'm not home right now) both say 1.0 when they used to say 3.5) Is it the drivers for the graphics card that I am missing?

Do you know the brand and model number of your graphics card?

Usually it will be either a ATI or NVIDIA brand/type card.

I'm pretty sure I have this: EVGA | Products
But when I run the CD it says something about me needing a 64-bit system but I only have a 32-bit system. (I don't know if I made myself sound dumb and if this makes sense the way I put it)
Would the card be considered a 400 series or 8 series?

If that is your EVGA card that you linked to, then it would be considered a NVIDIA GeForce 8 series card. The latest driver version is 258.96 beta.

For 32-bit drivers - NVIDIA DRIVERS 258.96

For 64-bit drivers - NVIDIA DRIVERS 258.96

You should right click on a picture you found on the internet and click set as desktop background. If you wanna use the original pictures, you should go to the picture folder. Hope this helps!!
