Hello folks:
I am having a problem opening a file. It is with only one file that I am having the problem.
I was adding data to this file and attempted to save it. It is a simple .wps file. I get a message telling me the file cannot be changed because it is in use by another application, a second window tells me the file may have an extension that Vista doesn't recognize or that the file is corrupt.
I rebooted to see if this would eliminate the "in use by another program" situation and it made no difference. I tried reloading the file from a disk and I get the same messages. All the other files on the disk will open except this one. I assume that somehow I have changed the one of the options for this file folder, but I can't find where anything is different.
I have had this problem once before and managed to solve it by reloading the data from a disk but this time no luck.
If anyone has a solution, please let me know because I don't want to lose three months worth of research. If the solution is to be found in the tutorials that will do.
Just point me in the right direction.
Regards one and all.
