Solved can't send or receive email

All of a sudden, I can't send or receive email via OE Vista. I can send or receive email via Xfinity.

Keep getting message:
Account: 'Windows Mail', Server: 'mail.comcast.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid username/password', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

I got rid of Norton plus tried resetting my OE stuff but still keep getting the problem.

Welcome
This can be a problem with the server used by your email provider. Go to the website and see if there are any notices. If not make sure that your settings are still correct.

If the problem just started, I would wait 24 hours. The problem could be the email provider (even though there is not notice) or your ISP provider.
To test, if you have another computer, see if you can send mail from there using the same ISP and email cleint.

Tested with another computer, I can send mail from there using the same ISP and email client. I can only get it via Xfinity, not Windows mail.

I have given you a link to free clients. An example of a client is Windows Live Mail. There are many as you will see in the link that I gave you. Download one, give it a try and see if you are happy with the performace. If not just uninstall it.

No, Gmail is email. You can go right to the Gmail website and send and receive mail. If you want to download it to your computer, like you are with Windows Mail, you need a client.

Have you changed the Password for the Email Account ?
The Error Code Specifies it is problem with "-ERR invalid username/password'"
Try to reset the password from the Webmail( Go to mail.comcast.net and change the password from my account option)
Go to Xfinity and update the new password over there.

Best of Luck and let me know if it worked
