Hi,
Frequently when using the contextual menu, I experiment the following problem : context menu appears correctly but one element of the context menu sticks on the screen. The only solution I found to make it disappear is to reboot!

I have attached a file to illustrate the problem.
Any hint to solve this annoying problem would be greatly appreciated...

Hi,
thanks for your answer! Yes, I tried to refresh the browser. It does not seem to be a browser-related problem since it occurs in different browsers and moreover in Windows itself (I mean outside the browser).

I have the same problem and it is not only for the browser but seems to happen for all programs. I found that changing the screen resolution will make it disappear ( so you may temporary lower the resolution and then go back to your favourite). This is of course not satisfactory but better than restarting the PC. I hope that somebody out there has a better solution.

May be memory related.

In search type memory diagnostics and take the test.

When the problem happens go to event viewer and look for errors.

I have seen this issue in windows 7 too.

Issues appears to be caused by the Desktop Windows Manager. If you terminate the process dwm.exe your display will change from aero to basic then back again removing the menu.

Really annoying as I wish there was a way to premanantly stop it.
