Quicktime is corrupt and unreadable
When I boot my computer I get a message saying that QuickTime is corrupt and unreadable. It tells me to run Chkdsk. I've seen many posts on this board about this specific error but none of the resolutions provided have helped me.
I have been able to find and run Chkdsk (via cmd & by right clicking on My Computer) but when I do it says that it cannot be run now because the disk is in use but it will run upon next boot. I've tried restarting and completely shutting down and cold booting but neither worked.
I've also tried to Remove QuickTime but I receive an error telling me that it cannot be removed. I don't know what else to do. I've already had to run an Image Restore on my Vista machine only one month ago for other corrupt files. Please let me know how to fix this.
