Create an association

I have Obituaries on my side bar. When I try to open one, it notes that the file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. It tells me to create an association in the set association control panel.
I have gone into the tutorials, but I still don't understand.

Please HELP!!!!!!

You must decide what program that you want to use in order to read the file.

If you still have problems give us additional information. Is it a word doc etc?

Hello CountyGirl, and welcome to Vista Forums.

What is suppose to be opened when you try and open this file?

What file extension does it have?


If this is a gadget that is suppose to open to a webpage, then double check to make sure that you have Internet Explorer set as the default program with all of it's associations set to it to see if that may help.
