Create scheduled restore point in Vista 64

Hi:

I accidentally erased the original scheduled task that comes with default installation for Vista 64 for creating restore point in Task Scheduler, I need to know the program/process that is responsible for starting restore point creation. I.e. I need to know what to specifiy in the "actions" tab when creating a new scheduled task for restore point creation.

In Edit Action dialog box

Action: Start a program
Program/Script
Add arguments (optional)
Start in (optional)

I need to know these info. Could someone goto their Task Scheduler and goto left pane

Task Scheduler Library --> Microsoft --> Windows -->SystemRestore
In the middle pane, double click on Create Restore Point (or something similar)

When the dialog opens , click on Actions tab and there should be one item in the list (probably start a program)already selected , click EDIT at the bottom of the dialog window

An EDIT action window should appear,

please tell me the above information (Program Script, Add arguments ... etc) in that window.

Thanks for your help.

Thank You SIW2 .
This is what I got but there was the other one I have erased. If this is the one you got by installation, then I will just adjust the trigger time of this one to accomodate what I need.

Hi again SIW2:
You don't have another scheduled task for restore point with Actions --> Program/Script , Powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass ...... ?
I couldn't find Powershell.exe in any folder, wonder where this entry came from........

Thanks

Is that something you found in an Action for a task?

Hi:

Sorry for the late reply. It is another entry under Microsoft ->Windows-> SystemRestore , I guess it is some remnants from another app !? I will stick with the SR which works for my purpose, now I have scheduled weekly restore point.

Thanks.

From what I can find, the execution policy is normally restricted and is usually changed by someone like an IT administrator. Is your system something you purchased or is it a business system?

I purchased the computer when Vista was the latest Windows OS and is a personal computer. May be the entry was made by some application that I un-installed . I have diabled that entry for now and probably will erase it eventually when I know for sure it isn't causing any problem.

It really doesn't hurt anything. It simply allows one to run PowerShell scripts that ordinarily wouldn't be possible. However, when I think about it, if some kind of malware was somehow able to enable that, then it might be possible for the malware to run specialized scripts to harm your system. The action to take depends on how paranoid a person is about such things.
