Hey everyone.
I have a 500gb hard drive that is partitioned into 4 drives. My disk layout goes something like this.
[C=40gb] [D=200gb] [E=150gb] [F=85gb]
My C drive is almost full, so i want to find the easiest way to "knock down the wall" between the C & D drive and make it all C drive.
I was told on another site to copy everything in my D drive (which is almost empty), and move it to another drive. Then delete the D drive and expand C into that unallocated space. Sounds easy enough for me to do.
The one question brought up that no one has answered yet is that if my C drive holds my OS and system files, (which it does), Disk Manager may not let me expand that drive. Has anyone ever tried this, or knows if it will work?
I would kinda like to know before i give it a try. Running Vista Ultimate 64bit.
