Different eMail Issue

I use Windows Mail on my machine with Vista x64 only because I don't have Outlook installed... Is that obsolete with Vista? My question regards attachments that are attached to the email. They are stripped/removed in transit. Other posts about this say that they can see the attachment but can't open it... but this is a different issue. There is no attachment at all though I attached and sent the email myself. Hope someone can help.

This occurs with all types of attachments. I have emailled myself with attachments and the email comes in with nothing there...other then my writing.

Aha... turn off Norton and see if the attachment comes through... I will try that this evening when I am home again... thank you.... I'll reply if this worked.

By the way, is Outlook no longer used with Vista? Is it only Windows Mail now?

Definitely YES! but you can find Outlook 2007 in the office suite.

I think GoossArch is referring to Outlook Express - and yes, Gooss, Windows Mail has replaced Outlook Express.
