it can be done with the easyBCD bootmanager by neosmart technologies.

great ! I don't need to actually dual boot do I ? this tool will allow me to disable the driver signing enforcement on it's own ?

no, dual boot implementing is not necessary. you have to install it and then it can be used also with only one bootable partition.

if i'm right enabling this would let you install drivers that aren't signed right?

would this also let you install drivers for hardware that isn't for x64?

as far as i know the 32-bit version of vista does not enforce drivers to be signed. it just poses the question if the user wants the installation to be allowed yes or no.

You do not need to dual boot in order to diasble driver sigining.

Enable the test signing mode in the Vista boot loader from the command prompt
(below) or from a BCD editor such as EasyBCD, then reboot your system:

Goto Accessories>>Command Prompt>>Right click on Command Prompt and Run As Administrator.

At the command prompt type:

bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING ON

When your want to re-enable the driver signing checks, open the Command Prompt once again with administrator privleges and at the command prompt type:

bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING OFF

Hello all,

I don't know if this is still relevant
but I saw dmex give this to someone
a while back. -> HERE

Here’s how to get it done:

1. Open an elevated command prompt
2. type “bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS” without the quotes (and no the DD is not a typo).
3. Reboot and enjoy being able to use unsigned drivers in Vista x64.
4. Remember who told you about this first.

If it helps thank dmex.

Later  Ted
