Hello friends, I'd like to share a cool tip with you.

For those of you who like trying different OSes (Windows, Linux, Mac), you might like this.

It's a mac emulator for your USB stick! It uses the old Mac OS V.7.01.
It works on Mac OS X and Windows.
It's cool and includes a word processor (sorry, but no internet!).
The best part is it's only 36MB!
Put it on any USB stick that's 40MB or larger!

Simply download this torrent:

Open it in your favorite torrent client (BitTorrent, uTorrent, BitComet, etc.), let the zip file download (it's only 18MB), then unzip it to your flash drive. To open your Mac, simply drag then hfs24M.dsk file to the MiniVMac.exe file (just MiniVMac for OS X), and your Mac OS 7 is up!

Yep, me too. But if it was Mac OS X 10.3-10.5, then I would probably try it. But then... isn't that violating copyright?

And, I can't live without Internet. Plus, from where I'm living, The Pirate Bay is blocked.

First of all, as some of you know, I wasn't even alive in 1991, so I want to see how it is (yes, it was quite tragic). And it's not violating copyright, because Apple offers free downloads of their older software (one day Leopard might be on that list...).

I wasn't born yet inn 1991 as well. So it will be quite interesting to "observe" the old Mac OS. But as you should know, even if it's not violating copyright, The Pirate Bay is simply just BLOCKED where I live, so it's not very easy to get my hands on it.

Try this one, the Mac On A Stick - Portable Macintosh on a usb-stick. Think you won't have problem with downloading this one. Take a look at this Creating a Mac-on-Stick using Mini vMac as well. It's what ComputerAge provided. That's easy to do.


Add: Here's another one for you Run Linux from within Windows without rebooting, simple to install on the flash drive. Highly recommended if you want to learn or discover other operating system.

I already have all the necessary files for Mac on a Stick, but I can't seem to... uh... open the .bin file. That is preventing me from completing the project.
