Using a Dell Inspiron 1501 with a TSSTcorp CDRWDVD TSL46d drive and an +R new disk, I get a message saying "The disk is write protected". How can I use these disks?

Thanks for the info, but the instruction is to find the "Write Protected" option and uncheck it. Under properties, I can not find any reference to "write protected".
