Dynamic and Basic disks???

Hello,

I'm going to install Windows Seven so I had to make a new partition on my disk. Using Windows Vista's console, I made one but it converted my disk into a dynamic one.

What does this mean and is it dangerous? Can I dual boot Vista and Seven on the disk or what?

Is not dangerous, and yes, you should be able to dual boot Vista and 7. But, is a bit incompatible with the rest... just to quote something at a Linux board:

[...]The Windows MMC disk management snap-in seems to always create dynamic disks, which is a friendly way of saying "one OS to rule them all"

Okay now Windows Vista is unbootable and Windows Seven says it cannot install on a Dynamic Disc. What should I do? Should I try to revert to Basic disk or what??

Okay I have installed Windows 7 now. I want to know what are the dangers of Dynamic disks?? Do they corrupt more often or what??
