Error Uninstalling a Program...

Ok So, I have a program, this program is called Lord of the Rings Online - Roheryn. It is specifically a version of the video game client for the MMORPG Lord of the Rings Online (who would have guess huh?..). Now, "Roheryn" is a preview server were the game developers release content before it goes to the live (retail) servers. Since it's a preview server it requires it's own client to keep it seperate from the regular (retail) client.

Now, there was recently an update to the Roheryn client, and I need to UNINSTALL my current version before installing the new one (okay and?), I can't. Simple as that, I am faced with an error message when I click "Uninstall" from the Add/Remove Programs window. I get the same message when I try to use the games uninstall executive file.

So my question to you is, wtf!?

Okay, I lied, it's actually "How do I get this 6.6GBs of useless junk off my PC without using the uninstaller, or ruining my normal client"?

Can you use the uninstaller located inside the clients application folder?

hmm, What is the error message? Have you also tried reinstalling this version then immidiatly uninstalling it?

It's just displaying a custom error message:


The original installer for this version of the client is unavailable. I was thinking that I may have to remove the files, then delete the registry entries with a registry cleaner...

Hey Freelancer,

Yeah sounds like that might be the only way to remove the application, It might also be worth trying to contact the Roheryn Game Developers for some help about the issue

Yea, I've contacted them, but "Roheryn" is classified as beta software for the game "The Lord of the Rings Online". Therefore they don't provide technical assistance .
