Anyone like me having issues with Esets smart security or AV after service pack 2 there are some workarounds , although the final one suggested seems to the best way to go...........uninstall 4 and install Ver 3
ESET Knowledgebase - Why does my Protection status icon turn red after installing Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008? (4.0)
the issue is worse for me as it when its playing up it also takes me offline a few restarts normally solves the issue but its a pain
Service pack 2 has been in beta for months , why the hell they didnt sort it before now is anyones guess , looking around it seems eset is loosing customers by the bucketload because of this and other issues with ver 3 and 4
