Explorer.exe problems

This dumb error keeps happening to me. No matter if I am searching the internet or looking through files, it always occurs. I have ran SFC / SCANNOW, System Restore, anything! Nothing works. How do I fix it? Does running registry cleaners cause this? I am very upset right now! (I've asked this question on pretty much every tech site, no one has came up with an answer!)

hello
try this

start > type: korwbrkr.dll into the search bar right click it. in the menu (if it shows up) and choose: "open file location" just to make sure you have one on your computer.

what were the results of sfc /scannow?

Thanks for the reply.

Ah the file location is in
C:/Windows/System32/korwbkr.dll
The sfc /scannow said "Windows found corrupted files, but could not fix some." I read the log but it say it couldn't fix some settings.ini relating to the Windows Sidebar. Ironically, shortly after reading the log and closing out of Windows Explorer, IT SHOWED THE ERROR AGAIN! It said, Windows Explorer is Not Responding. How do I fix this? And I looked this up online. Korean Wordbreaker it is. I do type in Korean, could the Language Bar be the problem of this?

My Computer

so you do have one in the system32 folder?
what version of windows vista are you running? basic ,premium, business ect 32 or 64bit?

and registry cleaners are NEVER a good idea!!!

the "toolbar" , see if you can uninstall it (some are stubborn) to see if that fixes the problem..

good luck.

What do you mean by uninstall the toolbar kenny? BTW im running Windows Vista Home Premium.

And yes, I run virus scanners/malwarebytes every day, nothing suspicious.

My Computer

I'm sorry just reread your post, you said "language bar"
is your home premium 32bit?
I was just reading somewhere else I don't think its malware or a virus , as i said i have the same .dll in my system

as for fixing it I don't know how ,but if you have 32bit vista (as mine is) I can upload the .dll file and you can replace yours to see if that helps. (the sfc /scannow) should have fixed it...

Do you have a vista disc to do a startup repair? http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

Alright, well I replaced the file from dll-dump.com, let's hope it works *fingers crossed*. But uh, can you answer my previous question in case it doesnt work?

EDIT: Uh oh, I think I replaced the file instead of giving the other file a backup. Would system restore fix that? :'(

yes , how big is the new .dll file? go to system32 : right click on the .dll choose properties and it will show you the size. is your vista 32bit or 64bit?
If it is 32bit it should match the size of mine.
