File folders and file name :/

i hate that vista is showing file type or folder type. is there any way to remove it ?

Hello Kachijs,

You have your view set as Tiles. You can click on the View button arrow menu to select the view you would like instead.

Hi kachijs,

In addition to what Shawn has said, you might like to select Always show icons, never thumbnails in Folder Options, as shown below.

This image shows that option UnChecked. This is the default setting.
