Hello Alan,

I have never heard of it. As a test, you could make a backup of it to be safe, then delete it and leave it in the Recycle Bin for a bit to see if you have any problems with it gone. If you do not after a while and running all your programs to see, then it probably is sage to delete.

I found a folder in c:\ named 'f4cb7566a0026135f949f2919c'. What is it? Can I delete it?

This kind of folders appear during installation NET Framework 3.5 or any other update mostly related to any NET Framework.There are only temporary folders and you can safely delete them.

If its not allowing you to delete, Take full permission for that folder and delete it :)
