folder pictures

Hi there,

I seem to be having a problem with folder pictures when i right click a folder and go to properties and then customize, when i apply a picture, it wont work and if theres already a picture there, it wont change to the one i want.

Not really a huge problem, but i like use folder pictures for my music for all the different albums that i have.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

Hi Thimble Guy,

You may need to click the Restore Default first, then change the picture. Take a look at this tutorial and the reply posts below to see if it may help you.

Thanks for the reply. I read your tutorials, but still no luck. Not sure why it isn't changing. Is this a bug in Vista?. In XP i was able to change it right away no problems.

It must be a bug. I have some people report problems with this, but I cannot reproduce the same problems. My folder pictures seem to always change when I change them.

You might try resetting the Folder View Settings to see if it will help. It will not hurt or make you lose anything since it is only a reset. See:
