Hello. I have windows vista home premium 32bit. I recently created an account for each member of my family (4) and made my account the administrator account. I gave it a password, which I did NOT write down 
. The other three accounts are regular accounts, not admin accounts. I cannot find the windows Vista cd that came with the computer; I'm still looking. Also I did not make a disc for my admin account before I exited that account.
I need to get into my account even though I cannot remember the password. Is there a way to do this without wiping everything on the computer? We have used this computer for almost 10 years now, and I really cannot lose all the info ... there is some critical info on my admin account that my son needs cause he is in the middle of getting ready for college in the fall. SIGH.
We've had this computer 10 years and five days ago I decide to make separate accounts for everyone???? I'm so annoyed with myself.
In researching online I have found different ways that people say you can go to fix this. Some of this included purchasing their software "fix" which I am leery of. But I found on many websites that a person can re-set their computer to a date before the person had the problem. For instance, I made set up these accounts on 3/14/17. If I could re-set my computer to a certain date, like 3-1-17, would this remove the different accounts that were set up, and it will be like before??
