Solved Forgot Vista Password!!

My friend's daughter has asked me to look at her laptop and she has forgotten the password for Windows Vista. Is there any way I can get into it to change the password without re-installing windows?! :rolleyes:

Have you tried going into safe mode as Administrator profile and resetting the password from there?

Google... Retrieving vista login password and you'll get a ton of possible answers.
