at default, its a high quality game, but turning the graphics onto their lowest setting, it will most likely run fine.

NOTE: Don't expect anywhere near x-box level of graphics unless you have a pretty decent graphics card.

System One

  • CPU
    Pentium 4 (DC HT SSE)
    Motherboard
    Gigabyte.
    Memory
    1Gb DDR 133
    Graphics Card(s)
    ATI Radeon X700 (AGP 256MB)
    Hard Drives
    1TB Hitachi
Minimum specs for Halo 2 are:
1 GB ram
2 GHz processor
nVidia 6100 or ATI x700

Integrated GMA cards are way below minimum specs for this game. If it runs at all it will run with most features off, and like a slideshow.

even if you meet the minimum specs, don't expect anything wonderful.

ps-
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 IS a Integrated GMA card-
Halo 2 requires either a class 1 or 2 card.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 is an integrated (onboard) graphic chip on Mobile Intel 945GM chipset. It is a faster clocked version of the GMA 900 and supports no hardware T&L (Transform & Lightning) accelleration (which is required for some games).

You have a Class 5 card.
Low End Graphics Cards - Only older games can be played fluently with these graphics chips (if they were not too demanding). Shared memory graphic cores in this category got the advantage of less heat production and longer battery runtimes. For office, internet, image correction, and video cutting tasks these graphics chips are still useable without any restrictions.
