i bought a used hard drive that is locked according to seller.i thought it might be a password for the hard drive but i tried to erase the hard drive with active killdisk and it cant do anything with it.it wont even load ubuntu.any remedies?thanks.it's a toshiba sata hard drive.

thanks to Ardneh for the advice but they didn't work for my drive.i tried it as a second hard drive and it didn't reconize it,and as a external drive it wasn't reconized either.thanks for the effort.
