I have preloaded x64 os from hp installed on my computer and have been trying to figure out how to install vista ultimate 32bt os and after doing alot of research, I have concluded that i need the installed preloaded os off my system before I can install vista 32bit. If that is the case, I am having no luck in researching how to format the partition that has my preloaded x64 os.
You should be able to format the disc from the new disc.
Insert the disc, reboot and enter your BIOS setup. Place your CD-DVD reader first in boot priority devices and reboot again. Now you should get the Install Vista screen (first press enter in the black screen). While installing the new Vista you will be able to format your disc and create a new partition(s)..
