Solved Help: Batch file renaming

I have alot of music in a folder and only some of it has an album specified. Is there any way to delete all of the album specifys? So that every file has that field blank?

Yes, do you have iTunes? Because you can edit the ID3 tags of multiple mp3 files at once in iTunes, so you could import all of the songs that you want to remove the album name and select them all and then set the album name to nothing.

Ok, open that folder and right click on a blank space (not on a file).
And then select:

Sort By > Album

This should then separate all of the files with album names and the ones without.

For example .mp3 .m4a .aac .wma

Good, that makes things alot easier.

1. Open up the music folder
2. Press Ctrl+A

At this stage you will see a bar similar to this:

Then you should replace the album (as shown below), with a space " ". Then click save in the bottom right hand corner
