I recently(about a week ago) bout an Acer 22" LCD and a ATI HD 5750 card ...Everything has been going fine..until this morning i turn on the computer and Im stuck in 640*480 and under device manager the monitor shows up as a "generic non PnP monitor"....
any suggestions...becayuse im lost and slightly frustrated ..sigh

ive been suffering a similar issue with the 9.12 drivers & the 5 series cards, out of the blue the ''cat drivers'' corrupt themselves & revert all desktop settings to defaults...
unfortunately the only cure ive found for this is a driver removal & reinstall..

Installed the new drivers in conjuction with reseatting the card and that seemed to have worked :S!! Weird Stuff...But thanx for the suggestions guys
