Hello,
I am new to this, so I am apologizing in advance if I am posting in the wrong topic

But my problem is:
I had something wrong with my updates and my computer refused to turn on windows, so I had to recover system, but before I did that I did backup of my data through startup F11... Long story short I did that, but after I installed windows I tried to recover my backup data... BUT IT DIDN'T work ... these files (first is .exe & the other one was .fbw) aren't working what could be the problem?
Is there any secret I should know how to restore data?
I hope that I expressed myself clearly :o
Thank you in advance

The FBW extension is used by the HP backup software. This means you need this software installed on your machine before you can restore the data.

Update your system spec so I know what type of HP you have.

When my system broke down and windows didn't start, I still could do the F11 thing... I did that and chose the "backup" of my data after it was "successful" I did full system restore thing to original point, but the thing is that even though I did "backup" it writes me that it doesn't WORK... b/c apparently "backup" failed, even when it wrote on the screen something like "Backup successful". Okay, I had completely restored windows, & I was thinking about finding help for my old data restoratition b/c I had very important things for me in there, but system broke down again and again and... and I don't know the problem... but now I don't know if it is possible to recover the old data after so many breakdowns... Does anyone know: Can I still recover old data if I have done several system recover things??

I didn't know how to explain it easily / differently...
