Help! The Group Policy service failed....

I turned my laptop on to find " The Group Policy Service Failed the logon. Access is denied." I hit Ok and it logs off, then logs back on to run through the same loop. I tried restarting in Safe Mode...nothing! Safe Mode starts to boot up the drivers and gets stuck on crcdisk.sys It brings me back to the user logon screen and continues the same process....I'm stuck, can someone please help on what I should do now??
