Hi:
I have a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6960 with Vista Home Edition. Today I used Windows Defender Offline and now every time I start the laptop I get the BSOD with the following code 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF80001D20B24, 0xFFFFFA601924E3C8, 0XFFFFFA601A37CDA0)......I hope I got these numbers correct!
I can start in Safe Mode and have run all the antivirus software that I have installed (Windows Defender, Norton, MalWareBytes, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot) and all say there are now current issues or viruses. I cannot do a System Restore in Safe Mode, my Bios is up to date, but the BSOD appears at startup, right after all the icons appear on my screen.
Can anyone suggest something? I am a novice with computers and do not know what else to do.
