Hello a few days ago my Desktop goes to sleep mode or shuts down on its own! when the computer does that I can't help it how do I fix this? I don't think is the fan or overheating because I check that everyday could it be a dust inside the PC? maybe a driver that is not working right? perhaps a windows update not working properly? how about the keyboard? it seems most of the time it happens when I'm typing

Days ago I got this message from windows:

1- "unplug all the imaging devices with USB ports including digital cameras and scanners"
2- "uninstall Xerox Scanner driver"
3- "plug all the imaging devices back"

I unplugged the webcams, scanner and uninstalled the driver but it did not work because I still have the problem any ideas what could it be? BTW I'm using windows vista and the PC is ACER

When the problem started days ago the computer went to sleep mode on its own after clicking enter it would shut down on its own now it just shuts off on its own I think It's random but you get the point whenever the computer does that I hear some beeps sometimes the keyboard will type stuff like this "-" can you guys help me out?

Welcome
Lets see if we can fix this the easy way, Try a system restore from a week before the problem. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-system-restore-how.html
If that does not work, post and we will try other methods

I did that like 3 times and I got this message: System restore did not complete successfuly. Your computer's system files and settings were not changed. Details: An unspecified error occurred during system restore. You might want to try system restore again and choose a different restore point. for more information, see system restore: frequently asked questions. I don't know if the problem is fixed I'd have to wait 1 or 3 days and see how the computer behaves can you tell me what your own opinion or something? if the problem persists I'll let you know.

Go to search type event viewer and the next time you have the problem, go to administrative under custom views and look for errors.

I went there, there's A LOT of errors and warnings I will post a short list in a few minutes from today also I checked the computer's temperature it won't lower the 50° Celsius and it won't pass the 50° Celsius the color goes from red to yellow or yellow mixed with red eventually the RAM stays in the 70% range. before the computer shuts down the keyboard types bn/ - bn/ - bn/ - bn/ I don't know what that is
