Help with the little things please (Parental controls and the F11 button)

Hi everyone i'm new to the forum.

I 've been running vista home premium for about 4 months now after having bought a brand new system. I'm totally happy with it to be honest and cant see why so many people I speak to are unimpressed.

I am experiencing a couple of minor irritations that I was hoping you good folks here might be able to assist with.

Firstly I have created four accounts for my Wife, myself and my two children. I have set parental controls for the two boys to 'custom' and then have blocked just 'pornography' in the seetings and also blocked downloads.

However In this setting, neither of them can access any websites at all, just getting unable to connect to the internet error messages. As soon as I disable parental controls, the problem goes away.

Any suggestions?

Another very minor issue is in trying to change an internet explorer window to fullscreen. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. The problem occurs whether I press the F11 button or clicking on the fullscreen tab.

Any one know about this.

For Parental Controls, You might see if using a white list instead will work better. This way only the websites you have listed can be accessed instead. It would be easier to maintain and safer. You can still set a content restriction level to.

Have the Only allow websites which are on the allow list checked in step 6A below, and add the allowed websites.
