I had another question.. I bought this webroot and have used it for years. never had a problem. This is new and might be a freek thing? Not sure. I have 2 laptops vista and to desktops xp and run this on all of them. I have like a group package. You think if I reinstalled it again i would have this same problem?

Everything, but Security Essentials is one fits all.
Security Essentials is made just for Windows,
it free
The money that you spent is gone. I cannot change that.
The question now is which is the best.
MSE is used by most of our membership
It is really effective
It uses little resources

Now to your question
See the initials on my Avatar BSOD Squad
It means that I handle BSODs, if you dont know what that is your lucky
MSE is the only anti virus, that I know of, that has never caused a BSOD

Everyday that you add software, make changes etc, may cause the problem with your current AV.If it were my computer, I woiuld make the change
Start with a system restore, use MSE for a while, if not happy go back with the Restore

Bottom line, however, its your decision. What you have may be fine with XP
Vista and Seven are different.

No,
Save your money. I have Security Essentials, Malwarebytes and the Windows Firewall all free
Just update MB once a week and run a scan.

If you want something thats really nice check out WinPatrol
Whenever something is downloaded (if you know about it or not)Scotty the dog barks. A pop up comes up and asks if you want it. If not it restores to where you were
Patrol also gives a lot of other information that you may like.

I have recently had this same problem and found that if you right click on your IE desktop icon and then click the "Advanced" button on the "Shortcut" tab, you'll see a check box for "Run as administrator". If you check the box and then click apply, then click OK.

The next time you start up IE a box will appear asking for permission to start IE, click CONTINUE and IE will start up as normal.

Please don't ask me why this is, but perhaps it might assist with providing a cure with IE.

Good Luck
