Security Essentials has taken the place of one care. Download and use Security Essentials. Also download malwarebytes and scan once a week. You will have full protection

I received the message from you informing me that on your computer you followed the maintenance tips given and your computer runs fine. You also said that you told your friend on the phone what to do and he is having problems logging in.
If you can find out what he did, I will try to fix the problem. Without knowing what he did it would be more difficult.

Based upon your message you followed this tutorial
Startup Programs - Change - Windows 7 Forums
and changed the start up programs. This could not affect the log in. Your friend did something else. If you can find out, we may be able to get in and make the necessary changes.
If he does not know, boot the computer and then as it boots hit F8 quickly and rapidly, you will get to a screen that will allow you to use last good configuration, try that.

But try to get back to us first, so we know that the exact problem is.

yyea i applgz for that, its got to b hard trying to figg out what some1 is talking about, when theres like a zillion things that could have went wrong, but the problm was solved some how, still not sure what happned, and if u ever need sum advise on building a house or addon, im ur guy, thanks for all ur help.

just got it installed going to edit now, what u think about there other products, ccleaner, defraglr and stuff?

I have ccleaner and its great. Ask us what to check before you use it or you may have problems
I dont defrag often, not necessary unless you install and unistall a lot. I just use the one included with the OS.
But if you want something really nice get winpatrol, its great.
