Hlsw

Hi all,

Has anyone got the rcon section working on hlsw. I can see all the games, but, when i enter the rcon password in it comes back as

Connecting..... then Failed.

If it was a bad rcon, it would say so, but the port is open on the router and port forwarded to my internal i.p as it was on xp.

I suspect its something to do with uPNP, as the MS Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool is reporting that the NAT type is not supported.

Can anyone shed anylight on this?

i have the same problem and rcon doesn't work while in game as well its like the windows port still needs to be opened and when i type quit in console windows treats the game as not responding and asks me if i want to end the task sorta thing wierd stuff ...

ultimate 64
Counter strike source and it sorta locks up for a split second when it does this in console while in game as well as in hlsw.

any ideas guys ? thx

its an account permissions problem hlsw requires "run as administrator" and you should give yourself full control over the file.

Done all that. LOL

The rcon test is failing. Can anyone test their hlsw with vista 64 and see if the rcon password/test works?
