How many computers does everyone own?

I am actually looking at getting an inexpensive laptop right now. Got another year until college, so I am starting to get that ready to go feeling. Anyways, when I get a few picked out, I will get opinions here.

The next build will be 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope), not 9.4 (set by month) and comes out on April 23.
Also, Hardy Heron is the LTS version, so it may be worth it to stick with it.

I am still waiting on N drivers, because my Wireless REFUSES to work with ANY version of Linux, and the support forums have been useless in solving it. :(
I really wanted to get it working too....:cry::cry:

Well so far, I am still using Hardy Heron because it's the LTS version, but I will change to Jaunty Jackalope using dual boot with Windows Vista after the .iso for the final release appears on the Internet.

lordbob75 have you tried to install the Windows wifi drivers for the computer in the Linux OS, I know there's this utility that reads the .inf from those drivers and make them work as if they were designed for Linux.

The package name is ndiswrapper, try that one, with the Windows drivers should let you use Wifi N.

See ya everybody
