Solved How to find lost files in Vista Home Basic personal folders?

You still have a malware problem by the looks. Scan again,You also need to do a disc scan (C:Properties,Tools) as earlier it mentions bad sectors.

I followed the advice given on the website:

Remove Windows Recovery (Uninstall Guide)

and have now managed to get my missing files back. The web site mentions the malware can hide the files; ''It does this by adding the +H, or hidden, attribute to all of your files, which causes your files to become hidden. It will then change your Windows settings so that you cannot view hidden and system files''.

I hope this information will help others if they get this malware on their computer.
