How to remove the default user icon?

I suddenly have default user icon on my startup screen. There is no such user in control panel to delete from. I am running Vista Home Premium.

Try turning off the guest account. That may be the problem.

It's off. The Default User is password protected. It is no where in the manage user account under control panel.

Go to cmd and type in

net user USERNAME

username = the mystry user

--

Post what it gives you.
