I was closing all my task manager tabs when i closed one called windows explorer, i closed it and everything turned white, i didnt think it would be such a problem, so i left my computer on over night doing something in a game, in the morning i come to my computer to close the game, i close it and everything is white. So i restart my computer and the screen before the sign in screen is glitching up and down, i sign in and go to my volume and my volume keep going up, and when i go into the start menu, it scrolls down. i open task manager and see that same windows explorer tab is open again, but things are glitching out, how do I fix this?

The easiest solution would be to run a system restore if you have a restore point prior to this happening.

If not, I suggest opening Programs, Accessories. Right click on Command Prompt and select "run as administrator."

Then type in- SFC /Scannow

Let it run. When finished, reboot.

Does that help?

when you say open programs, do you mean like an app, or like some programs?

Click on the Start button and select Programs. I assume you're using the classic start menu view. If not, select All Programs.

apparently you have to change your mouse usb to a different slot on your computer, it wasnt a problem with the mixer it was a problem with the mouse. i had a friend to help me figure it out.

What is a mixer and what does it have to do with your problem?

the mixer is the audio/sounds. I use a wireless mouse and sometimes it can glitch out, if you switch the slot it is in it fixes it self, the task manager and windows explorer was irrelevant, just a coincidence it happened at that time. im sorry if i wasted your time
