I messed up sharing/permissions to my own files

This morning, I was trying to assign permissions as I realized my folder which has administrative rights was for some reason accessible to my kids (not sure when that happened as it wasn't at one time, maybe an update messed it up?).

I mistakenly denied permissions to Everyone which includes myself.

I've been trying to give myself back permission but of course I keep getting errors.

Also now all the programs on my start menu won't work.

So, I guess I effectively locked out not only Everyone, but the
administrator, as well?

I know there is some type of super administrator but I can't even figure how to sign in to that.

How can I fix this huge blunder?

Thanks,
