Hi All
IE9 ERRORS WITH sfc /scannow or IE 9 itself I do not know how to think otherwise ,
I have had 3 perfect installs of Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit Dell OEM with all updates to service pack 2
Not a failed update at all , and sfc /scannow will run and come out with no errors at all
BUT as soon as i install IE 9 sfc will say it has found errors and has fixed them .
but that is not the problem no matter how many time i run sfc it still says it found errors and fixed them , i have did 3 reinstalls one from the Dell factory recovery partition one from
a set of 5 recovery DVDs that came from Dell and one from the Windows Ultimate 64 bit OEM service pack 1 DVD
that came from Dell , all of these installs come up clean after i run SFC but like i said if i install
IE 9 it will not run SFC right it will not run a clean SFC at all ?
So can someone tell me what is going on with IE 9 ?
OH by the way i can remove IE 9 and do a SFC /SCANNOW it starts working again with no errors this is
what i can not understand !!
This is on my Dell XPS 430 Desktop computer on a 750 gig Seagate hard drive !
Now on the same computer with the same size and make Seagate hard drive with Windows 7 64 bit SP1 Retail
IE 9 will install and work just fine with SFC no errors comes up!!
IE 9 when it is installed it works with no problems on Vista and Win 7 it just will not let SFC WORK with Vista !
Does anyone have a fix for IE 9 on Vista Ultimate 64 bit or know where i can get some help for this error
or {is it just a BUG with no fix}
Thanks for your Help !
OH if this is not the right place to post this Please move to where it should be posted ! MSE is my AV software .
