im an idiot and tried ubuntu 11.10 FAIL., i want vista back and have legal KEY, Help!

so i thought it would be rad to try linux, and its not bad however it has no chance of running World of Warcraft. so its got to go, but of course like an idiot i wiped my HD and fresh installed ubuntu, yes the back up partition is gone. all i have is some vista iso i DL from piratebay. now i know you guys dont like that but i dont know that i have a choice, i have no discs or partition and cant get discs. so that is not a solution. basically im returning humbly to windows for now can anyone help me get on the right track here. i have tested the has value of my DL. and thats as far as i got, i am currently just ripping my hair out, ready to just give up.... last chance...can you help?:D

ahhhh guess i should say its a dell dual core 1.8, windows vista home premium was on there and the key is on the bottom of the laptop, any more info needed lemme know.

dell xps 1210m, i am in ubuntu 11.10 right now. need to DL make an ISO disc and format drive and restart?

Not only we dont like Pirate Bay, we dont talk about it, but I will help
Call the manufuacturer of your computer, they will send you a Vista DVD for cost, about $25.00,
In the future its best to stay away from sites like Pirate Bay, although it helps you now, you will eventually pay the price big time.

piratebay? whats piratebay? never again sorry my friend. but here is the problem i dont have $25 furthermore i have a Dell Laptop and i want to make sure that i get the right discs because im hearing that my dell is very specific. i also found this page here Dell Community can i use it to help me?

If you do not have a Vista DVD or a legal means to install, there is nothing that can be done. The restore partition was your insurance and you say that is gone. I truly am sorry. If you have the Key, you can try to borrow the same edition DVD of Vista from a friend and see how that goes.

thank buddy, not what i wanted to hear but what i thought id hear im calling dell my mistake is gonna run me about $25 i think..oops at least now i have discs so that lame partition can go! ...guess its not lame now that i needs it!

Gwarf, well it is with great reluctance that i come groveling back to windoze, tail between legs. Its only and i repeat ONLY for World of Warcraft... Dell is sending me disks 24hrs... i will be dual booting vista and ubuntu, because ubuntu is way better, we just need Dell, Intel, Blizzard, etc. to get onboard here. Thankyou for your straight forward advice. hopefully the next person to read this can just stop the searching and do what i had to. its not worth your time for any alternative to calling Dell. or of korse giving up WOW but thats clearly not happening.... I will be Waiting patiently...
