huh?

If that is all you have to work with [WEP] then give it a shot and set up the network. It will keep joe blow from piggybacking on your network but that is a bout it.

WEP
an attacker can recover the secret key of the network with an average
consumer laptop in 1-2 hours. More advanced attacks were published in the last years making it possible to recover the secret key of the network in less than 60 seconds.

We have good nieghbors, and dont live in around alot of homes. In factWhen I search for a network no other ones come up because there to far away. Do you think ill be ok?

I can guess and tell you that I am sure you will be fine with the neighbors. Even though people can by little "hotspot" scanners for $5, and that they then just drive around looking for networks...

I think you should just set up the WEP network. it isnt the best, but it will enable you to use a wireless network config.

also since im turning off broadcasting doesnt thatt mean hackers wont be able to see my network anyway, unless they know myy ssid?
