Input monitor volume: no slider

K, hang on. I have asked one of our other users here to look at this Thread.

I think its a registry problem. Can only be solved by a repair install, system restore, but both were tried or cannot be done. I think the only way is a restoration using the partition. I do not think it imporatant enough to warrant such action

Do you mind sharing how to do this "the normal way"? Nothing on google has been able to help me enable a proper input volume control.
