Install Windows without CD/DVD

Hi everyone..

Is it possible to install Windows OS without using CD/DVD? I got the backup of ISO on my computer. I saw a free program named Wubi but it only installs Ubuntu.

I'm starting to hate Vista so I would like to install Windows XP, while waiting for Windows 7..

Thanks, any help would be very appreciated.

What problems are you having with Vista?

Mine runs superbly - there is no noticeable difference in performance or speed between Vista and 7 on my system. In fact Vista boots a little quicker.
Well it's just slow. I'm using Virtual PC running XP right now, and wow it's faster even when I only gave it around 200 MB RAM.

I tried hard deleting unnecessary programs, ending processes, optimizing, defragging and using the lowest graphic setting possible.

Oh and lag spikes? I play online games and on Vista it's unavoidable(as far as I know)

use winrar to extract to a large enough flash player ,,reboot computer (with usb flash player attched ,press F12 (could be different on ure computer) should show a list of boot device then boot ure flash drive (usually at the bottom of the list)

or open the iso with winrar then find the main setup file click it and it should bring the install menu up (this way doesnt alway work)

If Vista is a 15GB OS, how could you boot from a 4GB flash drive?

Vista Installer is abt 2.5 gig for 32bit, and 3 for 64. Its only on install that it is expanded and ends up being abt 12 gigs.
