This is very annoying and i have tried everything that i may know to allow apps to download.
My issue is that i tried to Install DC Universe/DXwebsetup.exe and neither of them work. Ofcourse they have no relations to each other. Its just that when they are installing and attempting to connect to complete downloading additional files but it seems it cannot connect. I am online and i download those files but they cannot be completed. I have a fresh factory recovery and fully updated and kaspersky 30 day trial. I recently came to the GAC_32/desktop and GAC_64/Desktop.ini mal-ware and reason for fresh recovery. Before recovery i had not have this problem and had both programs install without errors. The only difference from previous windows prior to recovery is that i had used firefox. THis fresh install i used Google chrome instead.
I have tried disabling kaspersky/windows defender/windows firewall/make internet explorer default browser and nothing works.
