Hi all.
From a working network between two computers, I now have a problem.
I can see why the failure occured, but cannot figure why.
The problem shows in the part of the Network and Sharing centre screen that describes the network location i.e Public or Private.
On viewing this screen, the location descriptor continuously jumps between Public and Private, (remaining longer on Public) when, during network setup, the location was set to Private giving me excellent network access between the computers.
I have found no method that will return the ability to set and retain the location to Private.
